Things to know before you phone or press send on the Enquiry Form

The Internet is a wonderful invention and as a company we have embraced the medium with both arms. However, we are the first to admit that websites are not yet ‘all singing and dancing’ and do still have annoying limitations. Until the day arrives when everything is fully bookable online, we are constantly striving to try and anticipate all of your questions to the point where you simply want to know if a particular holiday is available or not. We try to make our site simple to navigate and easy to understand.

About Us

Holiday World Ltd. trading as Villafinders.com, Americanskiclassics.com, Americanskiclassics.co.uk, Corsicavillaholidays.com and Sardiniavillaholidays.com is a travel agency fully bonded by membership of the Travel Trust Association (membership no. R5735). We are licenced to sell holidays on behalf of both ABTA and ATOL bonded tour operators and also have our own ATOL No. T7012.

Availability

Firstly, this website does offer a good degree of live availability as well as properties that are on a request basis. In order to check availability you must contact us either by e-mail or by telephone on 0844 800 3927. As we feature over 600 properties and represent a growing list of  tour companies – it is currently impossible for us to feature live availability for all properties until such time as technology allows us to.

Accommodation Only

There are several ways to find properties that offer an accommodation only option for those who have made their own travel arrangements.

Pricing

If you search for properties by using the main Search Grid, the prices quoted are Per Person including flights from London. Where ‘Accommodation only’ is stated, prices are Per Unit in this instance.

Prices shown via our Accommodation Only links are always Per Unit and not per person.

Child Discounts

Child Discounts are to be found on the Property Description page of the individual villa, apartment or chalet that you are interested in. They appear in text in the information under the property images and where possible feature the maximum age up to which a child is entitled to a discount.

There are no child discounts for Accommodation Only bookings.

Departure Days

As our site features several different countries, departures are on different days of the week. You will find that both the Search Results list and the Property Description page show the relevant departure day for the particular property. This is the only day that you can leave on.

UK Departure Points

To see which airports or travel options you can choose from; go to the Property Description page and look up the Regional Departure Points section located under the property image. The relevant supplements are also shown here the range in prices is based on seasonality. You cannot depart from another departure point if it is not listed here.

Late Bookings

For departures within 6 weeks, we recommend that you click on the Late Availability button on the Search Grid on our villa websites home pages. Here you will find better prices and more up to date availability. Though it does not offer live availability - we update these offers on a daily basis.

Groups

Villa Groups – only on rare occasions in low season are there any reductions available.

Pick up the phone which allows us to identify best your holiday criteria and respond accordingly.

Fill out the Enquiry Form with as much detail as you can and we will try to respond within a matter of hours.

Please bear in mind that we work with over 20 companies and have to manually search for availability – so help us to help you by being as specific as you can be v.v. numbers of persons travelling, preferred departure date, duration etc.

We are getting there, but by and large, you cannot book holidays online. The notable exceptions are:
